Disruption – why the halo!

Swim or drown! Well that’s what the recent breaking news in AI (Artificial Intelligence) looks like.

But let’s look at history.

When computers in its early stages came into play – the mainframe went from desktop to laptop to handheld devices. Now, it has only evolved and has taken all humanity along with it.
Remember the time when desktops came, typewriters went into oblivion. And there was noise that the users of it, will now be rendered useless and jobless.

What really happened!

The smarter humans adopted to desktop and loved it as it improved efficiency and it was more pleasant to work.
The others followed and slowly the typewriter  became a thing of the past.

For those in the late 40’s / 50’s /60’s will recollect – MS- DOS, FoxPro, dBase… And then how these were replaced by MS – Excel, MS  – Word and going upto ERP’s of Oracle, SAP respectively.

Adapt and adopt has been the approach to grow..

So now, why this fear of AI. Many a time, the fear is exaggerated & other times its real.
The ‘adapt & adopt’ approach is the way forward.

Tally – the accounting software is a perfect example of the above approach. And for over multiple decades it has been able to remain entrench & also make new customer inroads.

In all of this, there is also physical AI, in the field of construction, engineering, to name a few use cases can be useful .
So you stay in these condominiums or react, the builder has carried out the electricity wiring, uniformly across. Now a few years later you decide to go for a makeover. Now, you have decided to change the electric point makeovers, including the wiring.

In this case, unless you have the drawings and points were the 6 Amp plugs or 16 Amps plugs (for instance) are placed and if any trips happen, it takes time to identify.

Now, if u can just run a small device/laser inside the wirings and identify the problem area – boom… you have identified the problem (Similar use case can be had in home plumbing – ask anyone who have had seepage & have had to break down an entire bathroom tiling – to go through this).

In Auxano, before the current blowout in AI applications as in Claude Code, Gemini Pro for instance, Notebook LM was used in the daily operations – be it Investor notes for sharing information on new investments or investor communication.

Google search was replaced with the AI applications.

Also, every member was / is encouraged to share the developments & also actively use the AI tools.

Catch the bull by the horn!

Well, tools which increase efficiency and also how new way of doing a thing – is / was will always be in the offing..

Repeating again, Adapt and adopt – a sure formulae for success & to remain relevant.
