Biography
Lloyd Mathias is an angel investor and marketing strategist who mentors early-stage companies targeting rapid growth. Renowned as one of India’s top marketers, he has spearheaded iconic brands like Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Motorola, Tata Docomo, and HP PCs & Printers.
Previously, Lloyd led HP’s Consumer PC marketing for Asia Pacific and held key roles such as President & CMO at Tata Docomo and Country Sales Director for Motorola across South Asia. His 12-year tenure at PepsiCo included his role as Executive VP & Category Director for beverages in India.
He has chaired the MRUC (publishers of the Indian Readership Survey) and served as Co-Chairman of the Worldwide Mobility Development Group's Device Strategy Council and is on the Asia Board of the CMO Council. Lloyd is a graduate of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, holds an MBA from Bombay University, and completed a Senior Executive Program at London Business School. Recognized globally, he has been featured among Asia's best marketers and named one of the world’s top 15 marketers in 2007 for excellence in cross-border campaigns.
